I asked the SEO community if they think AI Mode will replace Google Search. With Google I/O coming up this Tuesday, there is a lot of speculation around this. And with over 1,000 poll results in, I wanted to share that most of you think AI Mode will not replace Google Search.
The LinkedIn results, as of now, have it at 66% saying AI Mode will not replace Google Search and 33% saying AI Mode will replace Google Search.
The X poll, which got far fewer results (which is unusual) was 68.9% that AI Mode will not replace Google Search and 31.1% that Google AI Mode will replace Google Search:
